The Personal loans arm of CLC was established in 2016 to cater to all spectrums of income categories. Standing by the vision to uplift customers’ living standards to the next level, CLC also cross-sells its savings products among clients.
CLC is currently carrying out the process to obtain the Client Protection Principles (CPP) agreement certification, granted by The Smart Campaign (www.smartcampaign.com) – a world renowned agency which endorses fair pricing for products.
The Personal loans arm recorded an exponential growth due to its extensive products range which includes micro credit, micro savings and micro insurance. CLC remains as one of the few finance companies authorized by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), in collection of deposits and savings, in a market which grants the organization a competitive edge.
This also serves a strength in the ability to canvas for new customers. Customers have the convenience of meeting representatives at a location of their choice, enhancing the possibility of them putting aside savings to secure their future.
Furthermore, CLC focuses on attracting first-time customers who have never made transactions with formal banking/financial institutions or engaged in any formal financial incorporation.
